Okay- So this all markers. I have a lot of unfinished images I am attempting to finish. This was a distraction from those images. I am finding it takes me quite a bit longer than usual to finish these images. It's funny- My older work looked much better once scanned and low-brow unscanned. My NEWER work looks wonderful in-person, however the very second I actually upload it- MY scanner or camera destroys any emotion I've placed into the image.
In a sense, I still do not know if I am an artist or not- Today, while drawing this- a hippie and his raver-girlfriend that I had just met picked up an armful of my stuff, looked it over, and then asked me if he could keep them so that he could hustle them because he needed some extra dough. So- I really wish I could find some exposure beyond online. A gallery setting would be ideal- even an art booth at a crafts fair.
I am beginning to finally feel comfort in showing others my work in person- up until now its been collecting dust in the basement, which is usually where it goes 50 seconds after uploading.
Spring Grove is located in RI and I went there today.
